Book Choices this week 15th July

Book of the Week is ‘The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read (and Your Children Will be Glad That You Did)’ by Phillipa Perry. Full of sage and sane advice, this is the book that every parent will want to read and every child will wish their parents had.

Children’s Choice of the Week is ‘Ariki and the Island of Wonders’ By Nicola Davies, Illustrated by Nicola Kinnear. For fans of Moana, a new series for young, newly independent readers. 
A nail-biting adventure with a strong message about endangered animals and human intervention, and a wonderful partner to Ariki and the Giant Shark.

The Adult Book Group are reading ‘SKYMEADOW’ by Charlie Hart. A gardening memoir for summer reading.
